Incontinence: A common condition
Continence health problems are a major health issue that do not only impact patients, but also carers, society, the economy and the environment. Incontinence is also incredibly prevalent, impacting nearly 45% of the population. As such, we strive to make resources for identifying incontinence symptoms and seeking help as accessible as possible. The Patient Office of the EAU hosts a library of resources for not only clinicians, but also patients to access to better understand their conditions and communicate their symptoms better with their primary care physician.
Here you can see one of the helpful informational videos produced by the EAU Patient Office, focussed on Overactive Bladder Syndrome. Understanding a condition is vital to seeking the proper treatment, so get involved, get educated and help us break the taboo!
