Sanprobi UroRun is organized for the 10th time by the team of Department of Urology and Urological Oncology of Pomeranian Medical University in Szczecin, Poland and its head prof. Marcin Słojewski who was created of this idea. Since 2024 it is supported by SanProbi company which is a Szczecin located company. It is a unique sporting and community event that brings together urologists, healthcare professionals, patients, their families, and supporters of an active lifestyle.
Organized alongside the European Urology Week UroRun combines physical activity with an important educational mission. Its goal is to promote urological health, cancer prevention, early diagnosis, and healthy lifestyle choices, while also strengthening the sense of community within Polish urology. It also promotes the achievement and activity of university urology in Szczecin.
The event is open to runners and walkers of all levels including children. It is not primarily about competition, but about participation, awareness, and solidarity. By taking part, participants help draw attention to the importance of prevention and regular urological check-ups, particularly in prostate, bladder, kidney, and testicular diseases.
With the support of Sanprobi, UroRun has become a recognizable part of the urological community’s activities — combining medicine, prevention, education, and sport in an informal and friendly atmosphere.
